Tis the Season...

Tis the season of long lines, grumpy crowds of people, even grumpier cashiers ... and the list goes on!

I was at Target last night, to pick up a few things. Seriously I had 3 or 4 items. As I walked through the store, people grumped. People were mad when they couldn't find what they wanted. I accidentally brushed some lady with my purse.... just brushed her... I said "whoops. I'm sorry." She huffed at me and marched off. Sheesh.

At the registers, of which there are only 10 lanes in the whole store open. I pick a line. I wait for 10 minutes maybe 20 minutes maybe it was even a half hour (oh, I kid. It was probably 10)... it was a long wait. Then the cashier comes out from behind her register and analyzes the line. She randomly picks someone to be the last person. I was the last in line and there was one other person in front of me. Why not just make ME the last, that is only 2 more people. Anywhoooooo, I started looking at all the lines. All of them were really long and I just didn't feel like waiting anymore. So I literally dropped my stuff at the end of one of the registers and left.

I was probably wrong for doing that because it means I was sucked into the grumpiness of others, but oh well. Too late now!

I think you got sucked into bad customer service. if the lady is gonna cut off the line, then anyone left in that line should be sent to the BEGINING of a new line. dont be hard on yourself.

It is sad how everyone is so angry around the stores at Christmas!!
I totally understand how you felt, though...
I was at Target, and it is beyond freezing here, and someone BEEPed at me while I was buckling all my kids in the car, putting the packages in, and folding up the stroller...Wow..Merry Christmas!!!

Ugh--I don't blame you! That's so frustrating and totally not fair.

Don't even get me started about Target and some of the run-ins I've had there!!

Last time that happened to me I mached right over to the no-line service desk and checked out there. I could feel the glares like daggers in my back from the "hundreds" of people in lines at the registers.

I also heard a stampede to the sevice desk after I checked out. LOL
