2008 in my house:
Our family was busy in 2008. We spent several months shopping for a new house. That wore us out physically and emotionally. Spirit took up guitar lessons. We lost our nanny (mutual decision for her to go) which meant Lady Bug started preschool and also that meant the boys would have to go to the after-school program. Lady Bug had always had a nanny so this was huge for all of us! With the move into our new house, the boys had to start a new school also (and adjusted very well, in fact they love it!) We took a family road trip to Oregon (for my niece's wedding) and the kids got to see the ocean for the first time. It was a hoot! We even went camping along the coast with my family and Spirit and Mr. Man hung out with my BIL on the boat fishing for crabs. Spirit still talks about how much fun that was! Mr. Man was elected co-president of the PTO at the boys school and I am chairing some events for the PTO. We made and canned applesauce as a family this year, which was a lot of fun!
We are looking forward to 2009 but really don't have any expectations of what it will or won't bring us!

I was gonna stop by and wish you a merry SITSmas anyway.. imagine my JOY to see that one of my FAV mommy bloggers likes me too:-) In the imortal words of the fabu Sally Field (lord I HOPE to look that good at 38 let alone almost 60!) "You like me, you really like me".. thanks for the warm fuzzies. As for miss lady bug.. heck any kid that wants to have a party at the gas station can take on all of life's challenges!!!
