I was asked a few weeks ago if I would consider being the Nursery/Toddler Coordinator for our church. I did a similar role for 1 1/2 years at a church we previously attended. I thought and prayed about the decision for quite some time. I finally decided that I would have the time and resources to take on the task. This church we are going to is fairly new and has never had anyone to coordinate all the children's classes. They put one woman on staff as the Children's Ministry Leader and she is building a team from there. I will coordinate teachers, helpers, curriculum for the toddlers and events and such as needed.
I am very excited to take this on. I have lots of ideas and have already started sharing my ideas with the Children's Ministry Leader.
I think this new adventure will be a lot of fun!

That sounds wonderful!! My mom does the same thing for our church. It's a big job, but one the parents appreciate.
