This is a picture Lady Bug drew this morning. When she proudly showed it to the boys they said
"Oh. That's nice. Is it a ghost?"
"Nooooo!"
"oh. Is it an antelope?"
"Nooooo!"
"Is it a wolf?"
"Nooooo!"
"Is it a monster?"
"Nooooo!"
As I walk into the room I look at it and I said to Lady Bug "Is it a turkey for Thanksgiving?"
"YES!!!!"
Then she glared at the boys as if they should have known that!! I mean come on, really...everyone can tell that is a turkey. Sheesh!

Yeah, um. How'd YOU figure out it was a turkey? Is this some special mommy-sense that develops over time?
Andrea.... no. I was TOTALLY guessing....LOL....it may have not really been one but as soon as I said that she probably thought..."Oh yea. THAT is a turkey. Thanks for figuring that out mom!"
I SO did not know what it was LOL. I still don't!
That is obviously a turkey and I knew it the moment I saw it. (Ahem.)
