Last week we had a conference with Spirit's teacher and this week was Lefty's. As you know, Spirit is in 1st grade and Lefty is in kindergarten so there isn't a whole lot to discuss at this point. But both boys seem to listen and both are "at or above level". Lefty is a good reader and she encouraged us to get him some books for him to work on at home. We have a lot of books but not many of the E-Z Reader type books. Spirit is good at math and reading but his teacher said he doesn't enjoy the writing lessons they have.
All in all I don't think we have to worry about anything and we will just keep reinforcing things at home with both boys.
