Community Outreach

Our weekly bible study group got together and decided to make a platter of goodies to deliver to the school as a thank you for all they do. So 4 of us women baked several items (mine were brownies, peanut butter oatmeal cookies and some pumpkin rolls) and we put the platters together and one woman delivered them to 2 schools in our area (one was the boys elementary school so she told the office staff that my boys helped decorate the brownies..which they did!). The schools were just thrilled to get these goodies! I know they work hard and don't get paid a lot of money for all the time (and personal donations they make in the way of paper, craft supplies, etc.) so it feels good to send a "thank you" their way!
