Apparently Lady Bug does not have the decorating gene. We went to Wendy's fast food restaurant the other day for dinner. While she and I were sitting at the table waiting for the men in our family to bring our food Lady Bug started noticing the fabulous decor of Wendy's. She started telling me how we needed to get salt and pepper shakers "just like this mom"
ME: "Oh, you mean the ones that you can find in the picnic aisle at the store?"
HER: "yep. AND we need to get a picture like that too."
ME: "Really?"
HER: "Yep. AND we should get chairs like this too."
ME: "Well, yes, because the turquoise and red goes realllllly well with the table we already have."
HER: "yep!"
Guess I will need to work with her on style, so instead of working on numbers or letters we will be looking at some of my favorite design blogs now, while she is still young and impressionable!

i love it when kids see something they think is "beautiful" or "Cool" and really- it isn't. The really odd thing is going to someone's home when it looks like a Wendy's fan did decorate it :)
Now starbucks... There is some pretty stuff. :)
Kids have cute taste! Always interesting to see they take on things
