Bread without bread

Does any one out there have any idea what "bread without bread" is???? My sweet daughter keeps asking for bread without bread. I try and try to ask questions to get an answer out of her, but all she says is "It is bread without the bread." At first, I thought maybe she meant plain bread. Nope. Ok, how about something like a biscuit or bagel maybe? Nope. Bread without bread.

No clues here people! Any one got any ideas???

I'm afraid this is one of those things that makes you go hmmmmm.

I'll let you know if I come up with anything. I'll have to cipher on this for a while.

Sounds like she just wants to eat a stick of butter.

Is she a Butterton?

I was thinking bread without the crusts...that's the only thing that comes to mind.

When this happens with Sarah, I try to get her to point, motion, show me, use other words. Sometimes it works but usually we both end up getting really frustrated until I get it!

Can't wait to hear what she was talking about!

Too cute. I love the way kids' minds work. I'm thinking crustless bread, or a roll or something.

Maybe she could draw a picture.

I agree...bread without the crust. Emma hates the crust.

maybe she wants just the inside of the sandwich?

when I was young, I used to ask for salad without the salad. I wanted veggies with no lettuce.
