Normally I would have to say Monday's are not my favorite day of the week, but I am so ready to get back to routine that I am happy for today and don't really mind calling the day Monday!
I was able to get back to my early morning "mom time" which I haven't had in a while. It was good to sit and sip my coffee and read. I also folded some laundry and unloaded the dishwasher - all alone! I started a Crock-pot dinner - without help! I even started my breakfast - alone!!!
I know that sounds terrible, but it was nice to have ME time! I missed my ME time.
Although the boys grumbled about having to go back to school, I know deep down they were ready!
Lady Bug didn't grumble at me once and was very excited to see her teacher and friends when I dropped her off at preschool!
Life is good in our house!

I'm glad your morning was so great! "me time" is so important, and I tried to savor as much as possible during my break. Like now, for instant, it is quiet. Tomorrow at this time, it will not be quiet :/ I guess this is the life of a teacher!! :)
Happy Monday! And oh do I love my "Mom Alone Time" too! It's good for us so that we will be good for them, right?
Enjoy the rest of your day!
I was ready for the Christmas break but I, too, am ready to get back to the routine. By the time Spring Break rolls around I'll be ready for another break from the routine!
The breaks are good but they throw everything out to whack!!!!
perhaps you could coach me on my schedule. I am a horrible morning person and literally ached while reading about your morning. It sounds heavenly!
Even though I still had the little one today, I enjoyed (shoving) the big guy out the door to school this morning!
I am also secretly excited about my 2 going back to school tomorrow. I am not looking forward to the homework and drama, but the ME TIME, oh, how I've missed it! :)
Mom time is very much needed. Glad you got it back. Don't think I will have it for a while-poor me!!
ahhh, "me" time. is anything else as underrated??
Yay for your "ME time". What a great way to start the day!
Starting off a Monday with me time is a treat! I'm lucky if I get some midweek. Of course, I could be enjoying some me time right now but instead I am stalking bloggers. Eeek!
I can totally relate! I love the Christmas holidays filled with lots of activities and family time, but I like alone time, too.
Enjoy your 'Mom' time! As we all are back into our normal routines.
