I saw a similar recipe online, but I changed my version a tad. These make cute little spaghetti shaped into "cakes" for dinner that everyone loves!
Baked Spaghetti Cakes
INGREDIENTS:
1 (16 ounce) package spaghetti
1 (14 ounce) jar of your favorite spaghetti sauce
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese PLUS some for sprinkling on top of each "cake" (I buy the bagged kind that is already shredded...I know call me lazy!)
3/4 lb ground beef (or you can use Italian sausage if you want)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a skillet, brown hamburger. Drain off grease. Stir in spaghetti sauce and warm thoroughly. Cook pasta until al dente. Drain. Combine pasta and sauce together in a pan or bowl. Add Parmesan cheese and mix together. Line a baking sheet with tin foil and spray lightly with cooking spray. Drop circular "cakes" of spaghetti onto baking sheet. Top with Parmesan cheese and bake for about 10-15 minutes or until slightly crispy. Do not over bake or the sides of spaghetti "cake" will be very hard.

Yum! I like any kind of baked pasta! Alas, my flabby belly does not...
I'd love to see a picture of this one! Sounds delicious.
