When we were at my in-law's house on Sunday Spirit let out the loudest belch-- at the dinner table!
All three of the boys I live with belch in our house.... often.... and I always say "Don't you ever do that at Grandma's house! EVER!"
So, when he did it at grandma's house I looked at him and said "not appropriate!!" and my BIL (who I absolutely adore) started chuckling! So, then he got a talkin' to!!
I know "boys will be boys", but do they have to be that way at grandma's? Can't they just be sweet innocent and polite little angels?

My husband encourages burping at the table. I'm trying to break him and the kids of the horrible habit. Hope Grandma wasn't too offended!
Thankfully, grandma wasn't upset and I was quick to point out that HER son does that at our table! :o)
I hear ya girlfriend! Those boys can be strange little buggers.
