What is this world coming to?

Did you all hear about the girl who stole another girl's Girl Scout Cookie money? Read this story over at ParentDish.

I am just shocked. I know when I was 5 or so I took a little girl's dress up shoes, but my conscience wouldn't even let me sleep. A day or so later I watched for them to be gone and I took them back and placed them in her back yard (which was unfenced and opened to the street I lived on).

I know this is extremely judgmental and I shouldn't judge, but it makes me question her upbringing. In all fairness it scares me to death, because I want to raise my children to know that stealing is wrong.

Reminds me of the young man, Matthew Murray, who shot all the church people recently here in Colorado Springs and how people have said that he and his brother are so different from each other and yet they were raised in the same home.

So, I am very well aware that sometimes it isn't the upbringing of the child, but it sure made me question someone who would steal from a girl scout!!!! or for that matter enter 2 churches and shoot to kill.
