Yesterday we celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary! There have been times in our marriage when I wasn't sure we'd make it another year!
Today, I can honestly say that I am thankful to have him in my life. He is my rock. I am thankful we have had children together and that for the most part we agree on how to raise to them. I am grateful that he is not a picky eater -- he is so much fun to cook for! I am thankful he had a good momma who raised him to be a good man. I am thankful we are together and plan to be together for a long time!
We met for lunch yesterday and then all of us (the kids too) went to dinner. He made me a card which was very sweet -- and I am such a loser I didn't even BUY him a card, let alone make one. Spirit and Lefty drew us pictures that said "Happy Anniversary" and Spirit also drew me a picture that said "Thank you for marrying dad"

Happy Anniversary, Nikke! :) (And I quit buying the hubby cards - he just ends up throwing them away, so instead I send him emails to save money.)
