The other day Spirit was riding his bike in the park with some friends. They decided it would be fun to ride down the stairs.
Pretty soon Spirit came home, no bike and tears. He was limping a little and had some "road rash" on his nose.
Nothing was broken and there wasn't even that much blood from the scrape on his nose. All is good.
All is good until everywhere we go people ask what happened to his nose. I have to giggle when I hear him tell the story:
Concerned person: "Oh no. What happened to your nose?"
Spirit: "I was riding my bike in the park and rode down the steps."
Concerned person: "Oh. I guess that didn't work out so good. Not a good idea eh?"
Spirit: "Well, I did it like a hundred times without a problem, it was just the hundred and first time that didn't work out so good."

SO FUNNY!!!
Love that story!
Its all fun and games until someone gets hurt!!
Isn't it great to hear stories retold by the kids? The boys still love to tell random strangers about how they got various scars, scrapes and bruises! I'm glad he's ok!
Love it!
