I am in a funk today.
First of all, remembering 9-11 has me sad. I can remember exactly where I was, who was with me and what we did as soon as we found out. I can remember the feelings that stirred inside me...thinking "these people want to take us out." I remember worrying about what kind of life our children would be living because of this incident. There is a lot more I could say about that, but I just can't right now. I literally have knots in my stomach right now.
Secondly, Mr. Man found a lump in his stomach on Monday night. I didn't want to panic, but begged him to see a doctor immediately. He had an appointment this morning and they are sending him to have an ultra sound done.
Thirdly, I have had to work a lot this week and twice this week didn't get home until 10:00 pm, so I missed out on the evenings with the kids. Normally this doesn't bother me too much, but for some reason today I am wishing I could go to the school and scoop them up and hold them. Maybe this is a result of my feelings from 9-11?
Things will look up soon.

Sorry Fishy Mama! I know what you are saying about the knot tho...I have had one today too. Has to be 9/11. The day just fits our mood!!
I hope you didn't stay there until 10 last night!! You were supposed to be right behind me. LOL
I'm in a funk today, too. I didn't relate it to 9/11 - but I guess it could be; that and the weather is gloomy, I'm unmotivated to do anything today, worried about my dad (dying of colon cancer).
Anyway - I hope your funks don't last long. Mine usually don't - somehow I always manage to pull out of mine.
Hope your day gets better!
I hope your husband is ok! My husband is not one to go to the doctor unless something is REALLY wrong, so i'm glad you got him to go today.
As for the book idea, I already have my notebook started! I've got a few compiled from last year as well. My thoughts were the same...write a book, get on Oprah, travel the world sharing my stories! :D
I hope your day gets better!
Man, I hope you did go scoop them up. They are your kids and you should get them a lil early if you want them.
Hubby: don't stress until there is something to stress about. Hopefully is it something minor.
I hate our generation will have a mark in history like 9/11. Generations before us had things like man on the moon, we have this. SUCKS. It is so sad.
Sending some hugs your way...
I hope mr. Man is ok!
I hope your husband is o.k. I will pray for him.
Oh gosh, big Texas prayers headed your way.
